She was caught off-guard like shown in the previous chapter, as she got ambushed while helping someone (the person she was helping was the trap itself), and got the Slave Collar put on her. While she did manage to escape immediately, but it was too late as the slave collar basically robs the person of their free-will and control over their own body.

But not on her back, at least not well, which is what we saw him doing. Though I agree that there should have been a throw away line where he tells her to do the front/rest herself.

MC being a orphan and mercenary for his whole life, doesn't really know how to handle woman properly is normal situation.
He only knows how to handle them in mercenary-like ways, like in battlefield were stuff like "shame" or "things not to do to a women" doesn't matter, only keeping someone alive or treating them quickly matters.

On a side note, in LN (MTL translation), he was more invasive than what was in the Manga, when it came to applying the medication.

Its mentioned in the LN, that its not just his face, but even half of his skull and even his brain was damaged (mentioned in previous chapter as well), which is why MC seems to regularly complain about doing stuff that others would frown upon or won't do at all.
Whatever remaining part of his brain which had survived and is working has apparently been stuffed inside his cyborg head along with a cyborg brain to handle stuff which the remain part couldn't handle.

...okay the guy still has the tact of a drunk, dancing elephant in an Amazon warehouse but he is at least trying. Made it clear he would also let her leave.

Makes sense a 30 year mercenary is a straight shooter. He has his own selfish intentions, but he's not going to force them on anyone and has basic respect and decency.
