It seems like the two competing scanlators of this manga have reached an agreement on what chapters do they make their claims to translate, right?

Poor Korguz, yet another target of the mentally unstable Sitara.

Curious! So much is revealed in this chapter. It's interesting how Korguz ultimately wants to bring Persia to prosperity under the Mongol rule (and is actually succeeding with his plan), while Sitara wants to make the Mongol empire fall (and she's nowhere near her goal lol). I'm curious to see how it will play out if Sitara manages to gain even a slight advantage... The power of creation vs the force of destruction, yet Arghun notices a similar fire in both their eyes.

Moge is relevant to the story, yay! And she was serious about her ability to detect when people are lying.

Yeah.

Thanks for the translation.

I can’t wait to see Boraqchin’s “How cute.” clapping animated
Chinqai and Ilcidai’s reactions should make for some great gifs as well

thanks for the further explanation on Faraid! the implication that they HAD to invent algebra to deal with it is very funny to me

What's actually funnier is that al-Khwarazimi's commentary on his own book, which basically boils down to, "Look... almost every part of Islamic law that deals with assets is so complex you need abstract mathematics to resolve them. That's why you need to approach real-world problems by devising step-by-step mathematical instructions on how to resolve them," was how the world first got introduced to the idea of algorithms (named after him).

I wonder if they'll do more with the figure head, Edgu-Temur, and Khogaz's abrasive side. Even with Khogaz's talent, he doesn't seem to have any ally.

LMAO….I love it.

also, it’s so sad seeing Fatima snap back to a more normal/cheerful self in this chapter when she starts teaching algebra.
you can sort of imagine a version of events where her mistress lived through the sacking of the city and came with her and the others to the Mongol lands, and encouraged Sitara to not hold a grudge and to teach these invaders about mathematics.

did y’all noticed that chagatai was initially against ogedeis decision until moge said she shared his idea ? Idk if it’s intentional but in real life chagatai was pretty fond of moge so it would make sense why he changed his opinion so quickly
