I bet future historian will read his travel stories and say it's all tall tales and exaggerations or say "Ermm actually it was multiple elves that wrote under the same pen name" like some people say today that Sun Tzu/Shakespears are multiple people using the same "pen name" or something.Man that first monster he trapped looked an awful lot like a human with a fur cape for a second.Love that in this series, building a nation qualifies as just a side quest.

Don't forget, Aesir is a blacksmith and sword master. 10 years he can easily pass on blacksmithing to help gear up front liners who can fight with a sword. The governing part though is where I'm interested in seeing how it goes, since he's never really ruled over a place or people.Elves are all archers right? What kind of formation could Aesir teach them? Isn't their current hit and run tactic the best without any screening infantry?
Seeing how they're victims of genocide the baby might be an orphan those two ladies decided to adopt for all we know.In the penultimate page, was that a lesbian couple? And was that their baby or an adoption?
I thought only high elves were formed out of spirits; normal elves brew up babies the expected way.

The basics of basics: discipline and organization. They're good with guerilla tactics, but those 30 odd thousand elves are more like multiple militia group that move on their own. They need to have a concrete chain of command, which he will do in the decade hes staying there.Elves are all archers right? What kind of formation could Aesir teach them? Maybe she just got tired of having a child and she was like: "oh you're gonna take care of us? Take the little shit then"Seeing how they're victims of genocide the baby might be an orphan those two ladies decided to adopt for all we know.
It's funny how you're taking so seriously someone imagining two characters as a lesbian couple lmaoAnd who's to say they are a couple to begin with. They could just be fellow villagers, close friends or even relatives, mother/daughter seeing as how they are elves and wouldn't look that far in age from each other once they were adults. Just because someone is beside you while holding a child, doesn't automatically equate to some form of familial or sexual relationship. In fact, they can be total strangers in the same village, and still have reacted in the way they were depicted because of Aesirs statements.
How the thought that they were even a lesbian couple in the first place happens before any others, I don't even understand.![]()
"I heard there's a high elf that's currently helping Inelda"So, the successor he needs to rule over this elf kingdom needs to be an elf that can understand other races, get along with humanity, is knowledgeable in warfare and governance, and be a proven leader.
That's just Wynn, isn't it?
And like half a page of this manga!10 years, huh? THat's, what, 2 weeks for an elf or something, right?
Unless you build-a-bear then likely yes. To do all of that is going to require some cheat level talent or hella happenstance. Worse case scenario you have to choose multiple people and form a governing body which collectively possess all those skills, which is entirely possible. Then the chapter ends with I accidentally unintentionally made a democracy and now humans have a say as well as all live in peace, yay.So, the successor he needs to rule over this elf kingdom needs to be an elf that can understand other races, get along with humanity, is knowledgeable in warfare and governance, and be a proven leader.

You're right, it's not that deep. Hence....Maybe she just got tired of having a child and she was like: "oh you're gonna take care of us? Take the little shit then"

MC at the end of the arc"Wait a second. I'm fucking immortal. Okay yeah I can spend a decade helping y'all make Elf Israel-oh shit wait is this a bad idea."
I mean, Wynn is a half-elf. He's long-lived, compared to a human, but his lifespan is still shorter than an elf's, let alone a high elf's.I understand why he doesn't want to become king, but considering how many years he whiled away in random villages, it is a bit surprising how much qualms he had about putting aside only ten years for nation building.
Feeling is mutual here.God I feel even older, and demoralized after reading these comments...
