She never met Sou, only Ruri did so far... wouldn't be surprised if she's masking her true nature (which would be a huge fujoshi) - not a rotten apple but a rotten orange, then.

I want to see more of her. And of course I want to see the other guards and their guys,,, though, it's just one guy right now, since Class C is male-deprived for the time being.

I can imagine the jealous looks and longing gazes that Sou and his three guards get whenever they walk past their classroom.

The question is also if they can apply for it when they currently don't even have someone to guard themselves. I would assume not, since they lost their guard target the school won't allow it for the male's sake. Can't risk to lose another one.

We have to remember one thing - we only ever saw Sou's family and Akane actually loves her daughters just as much. She treats them all equally and fairly... But that's not how it normally goes for families with a boy.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. But you are correct regarding their dynamics and that they all see each other as rivels and maybe even enemies. It's probably not a chat group they created for fun but something they need to have so they coordinate as guard team leaders in case of emergencies. We know way too little about the school yet to actually tell what else we can expect. Like, do they have a student council? How is actual guard training performed - we only saw theory so far, what about practical skills like CQC techniques to take care of pests. You cannot hand out a baton, it would take practice to learn how to handle it. Such things would be interesting to see as well at some point.
