... How tf is this so bad?
Like let's imagine there is a shadowy org. capable of bugging every hideout place you can think off.
That shadowy org, would def have multiple people operating, especially WHEN IT'S THE LITERAL ROOT OF YOUR PROBLEM, THE PEOPLE WHO WON LIAR GAME.
There won't be just integral, who would monitor them, there would be multiple people, hence if only one person slacks off, atleast others would catch on that they are using smartphones to send messages, ther literally bugged the whole house.
Also until the shadowy org, is literally north korea, why do they care about the Liar game's message of trusting one other and freedom of speech? No where in Liar game is it mentioned who is the Shadowy org. so their name is also not defamed, then why do they care?

At least is an ending, not like the original series.
My guess is that the author was reserving the end for the time it got an anime, but it took so long he forgot most of his original ending idea and had to compose this in record time.

Except it's probably not possible to monitor all of the screens simultaneously, therefore I'd imagine each person monitoring would focus on partial information while operating with the same bias Integral did. Everyone being assigned several cameras and multiple people watching in shifts adds up to quite a few people. I imagine the organisation has other things to do as well; therefore watching if somebody isn't playing with his phone (that isn't supposed to be there in the first place) under the blanket in the middle of the night might not warrant extraordinary numerous human resources.
There are countless possible explanations why they could care. What if they wanted to organise their own Liar Game tournament to earn money?
In the end, this clearly serves as a thematical epilogue. The organisation is just a plot device to facilitate it. Details about them are not really relevant to the point of this sequel and if they were, they would have been included.

They don't talk with each other?

Again, this should be one of their top priorities if they went to the lengths to bug everything of the participants. Also, the whole premise is under the assumption that no one saw what they were doing with their phone, which means they knew where the bugging devices were in the first place. Like just a glance on their screen and it's over. You don't even need partial informations for that.

What was the point of all this?
Did the author want to cash in on the previous success of Liar Game and it was axed again?

Liar Game ended in early 2015. I think having the sort of downer ending it did was more palletable then. Now, in 2026 I think the author wants to end the series in a happier, more hopeful place.

the thing is kaitani shinobu cannot write an ending and cannot write a spinoff/oneshot sequel so there was no possible way this would ever be good. especially not picking up where liar game left off .. i did have some hope for a better twist here (like that integral is straight up not a real person that exists since that whole part of hte plot is too absurd to take seriously) but its also true to liar game spirit to write a twist that makes you throw out every chapter that comes before it. if literally every single interaction was faked then what information is there in the previous 5 chapters? all conversations staged, all decisions pre-made ... only nao is being genuine so i guess if you want to see the whole cast gaslight nao or how nao would react in this situation you can read it for that. what foreshadowing or second secret layer of meaning is there here? why write any of this? its the definition of an empty story and thats basically liar games legacy to me ... a bunch of bullshit that doesnt even matter to kill time until akiyama just infodumps at the viewer/3rd party about the real scheme all along. i wouldve enjoyed reading the manga about the real scheme but oh well.

at least we do have confirmation the strange yokoya hitler thing was not a lapse of judgment on the authors part Or meant to paint him as the antagonist who needs to grow and stop looking up to literal adolf hitler. kaitani shinobu thinks this is a normal character trait to give one of its "good guys" characters. "i wanted to surpass hitler" is a fascinating closing line to give to your "lets all trust each other and believe in the inherent good of human nature!" manga. somehow found a way to outdo the "heres a bunch of tweets" manga ending. all this being said, since this title did not invent the youtube documentary plotpoint, this is still a better ending than the original manga had. but thats an extremely low bar to clear.

thanks for translating this last stretch of liar game, its been a little funny

Shinobu, a canonical artist of our age of Mammon, finally fixed the one incomplete work of his magnificent oeuvre.

Since it seems misunderstood, I will oblige to give the correct reading. The snitching game is the perfected synthesis of lies and truth that the story has thus established. The stated goal of creating the "Liar King" was never abandoned, but it was not understood until the end. Nao, Akiyama, and Yokoya, as the three recognized aspects of the Liar King, have their worldviews synthesized in the true Liar Game which is not any single individual, but the solidarity of the players unified as a people, as an empire of undying trust, nuanced wisdom, and total domination all at once.

As Evola had put it, "truth is a powerful error; error is a weak truth." The new empire, acting out truth in its own solidarity, under the strategic conception of suum cuique, deceiving all its enemies following the biblical mandate to "be made all things to all men". This is of course the recurring theme of every act of Akiyama's from his own perspective as opposed to that of Nao's, but here it is extended beyond himself, to the whole of the initiate, to the thirteen, the symbolic significance of which is obvious.

The final resolution is also lovely. A clear reminiscence of the ILOVEYOU email virus spread across the world back in '99, but built not on the autonomous script, but the free will of the influenced, on the persuasive strength of the message itself, an instantaneous, unerasable transmit directly to the minds of men. The social media posts are in the end not fundamental at all, but just evidence, itself secret in its meaning, not meant to spread to the masses, but to speak only to those already aware. It simply shows the change in the souls of men who will themselves, with no need of aid, of the artificial machine of Mammon, to believe one another.

It's also far too on the nose not to drop the esoteric reading lol.

"We like to hope that the memory of the One-before-the-last and most heroic of all our Men “against Time”—Adolf Hitler—will survive, at least in songs and symbols, in that long Age of earthly Perfection which “Kalki,” the last One, is to open. We like to hope that the Lords of the new Time-cycle, men of his own blood and faith, will render him divine honours, through rites full of meaning and full of potency, in the cool shade of the endless re-grown forests, on the beaches, or upon inviolate mountain-peaks, facing the rising Sun.

But even if it be not so, still he will, like all his divine predecessors, live, throughout the ages in the faithful consciousness of the Universe, the life-rhythm of which he symbolises. Still the long and more and more intense and finally almost desperate aspiration “against Time,” which characterises every recurring Time-cycle as soon as decay has set in obviously enough to be felt, will be, every time, a new expression of that self-same yearning after manifested Perfection for the sake of which he fought and lost, a new, long-drawn cosmic outcry, proclaiming that he was right in spite of all. And still every further Golden Age to come—every successive Dawn of Creation—will be the living materialisation of his highest dream, a further hymn of glory, proclaiming, every time for myriads of years, that he—He—has once more won."
