Y'know what, author? Fair enough. Hopefully there's a way to pay for it from overseas even if the intention is to get them money without ever having it shipped states-side.

Don't think they'd be doing a digital version until a bit after the Comiket release TBH, so that'd have to suffice.

Augh, uck... I get it makes sense but so uncomfortable... The demon's choices of words kept getting worse haha... We kind of grasped from demon-kohai that it was a sexist culture but eesh.

The fall to darkness path is, at least in a formal social way, being a concubine? This is some vampiric soul corruption stuff plus magical girl salvation. What a great chapter. Great worldbuilding. (Ugh.)

It's basically confirmed Junna isn't the older magical girl but she used to be or is reconstructed from that girl. So. Junna was something like a concubine. Maybe different ranks but mechanically the same. What a trip. Junna's whole mentality was warped, and even after she's freed she does not consider herself the same person. Even trying to regain power it's for her own freedom to wield it.

That makes seeing her heroine put in that danger all the worse. So many levels of trauma. "I don't want you to be ended like my predecessor ended" and "I don't want you to experience what I did" and "I don't want to lose you".

I think that Demon Kohai is playing with fire.
He's motivating a dark haired lesbian with her pink haired love interest's life... Last time that happened the universe got rewritten... twice
Plus Junna's eyes are absolutely livid
I think he'll be lucky to make it out as a fine paste

Where did you get that. It's not confirmed at all. Junna said she's not the older magic girl but we can't take her word as face value because her memories are suspect.
Doesn't matter. We both assume she's not 100% literal. We can't take her at her word. We also see conflicting evidence. Both from timeline and stylistically Junna shouldn't be that person without some magical interference. There's no perfect word choice here.

This chapter used the word "end" for how Junna views corruption. That's very telling. It's a more Vampire The Masquerade take on murdering a personality than most stories acknowledge. I'm not going to debate the nomenclature of mindr***. It's dark but I'm glad to see it treated seriously.

If you want a particular word for the continuity, go for it. The fundamentals stay. There was a coda between the lifetime and personality of the older magical girl and the lifetime, personality, and body of Junna now. The charm implies there's continuity between them not a multiple clone situation or something. If Junna draws a line it doesn't need to be 100% literal.

It's a very small jump to say the older magical girl faced similar demon magic. An ending in Junna's view. I'll go with whatever she says as close enough word choice.

It's not confirmed but in my opinion it's obvious that's exactly where this is going. She was the strongest magical girl of her time, who got caught and used as a vessel for the dark lord, which would explain why a mostly human-looking teenage girl (who also happened to look exactly like the magical girl Hanne met) was the general of the demons.

Then why does Junna have the charm? Hane gave the charm to the magic girl. Junna has the charm so she must be the magic girl herself. She just doesn't remember because her memories of before she became a evil general seem to have been erased.

I don't think it's a coincidence the charm is shown in this chapter when Junna is enraged at seeing Hane in danger. The charm symbolizes their connection.

I really wanna buy the book, but how would I even purchase it lwky? 😭😭
Probably Booth? It is an Japanese site that allows for international purchases. They could (maybe) even put up a digital version of the book instead of just listing whichever printed copies they may have left in it (after comiket ends).
