I think what makes this better then other otaku x gal romances is the fact that this otaku-kun isn't a doormat and doesn't really follow any of the stereotypes as well. He isn't introverted, the dude works out and is very much a people person and not really insecure about himself. He's genuinely just a great guy and it feels a lot more real that not just one but 3 girls fell hard for him after getting to know him.

He has actual skills and is actually a nice person.
He is a normal dude who likes nerdy stuff, has an actual personality.
