I don't think that would be the case. She is a noble and they do kinda need her to make sure that her territory doesn't go against the crown. Further, if they figure out that she is the one with the high level storage skill, she would become an invaluable asset to the country.

The people might see the crown taking over the territory as greedy and opportunistic and the change in the way the territory is governed could lead to a rebellion or at least create dissatisfaction with the kingdom and distrust in the crown.
Also if the people were told she was dead they might start a riot.

Having her back would solve that problem as the people would be a lot more accepting of she is around.
