the one question I always had during this manga was 'do condoms not exist in this universe?'
And even now I'm thinking 'do they know there are non-penetrative ways to show intimate sexual affection for each other?'
The whole story felt like it was looking for excuses to not explore those topics rather than intentionally giving valid explanations as to why it won't

The romance was sweet and the art was good but it felt lacking in pretty much all other areas

Lmao, what a waste of time that was. The “romance” (if you can call it that) was completely unearned because the mmc is a feckless loser who freaks out at the slightest bit of intimacy. Also, having absolutely no background on how they got together makes all of this unearned and uninteresting.
