The start of this series was solid with the MC not being a complete wimp, and actually semi going out of the way to get close. Now he's getting close and I guess author rushed it more than they thought so now we have to suffer through him being the worst most timid bundle of nerves for the next 20 chapters. Fun.

5mins ago the FMC literally said if their colleagues spot them on the broadcast they'll act as if this is work. If she's hiding they are dating she can't be like OMG let's kiss on the live broadcast for work.

I don’t understand the rage here.

They’re boss & subordinate, they can’t just kiss on TV when they’re supposed to be working. Depending on the HR policies, one or both of them could get fired, and most likely the blame would fall on her.

It’s not like he wouldn’t have kissed her in normal circumstances, he was protecting her. I was surprised she was dumb enough to pucker up for a kiss in this scenario.

And even without the work angle, it's actually not particularly odd to be iffy about kissing on camera in front of thousands of strangers.
