i was hoping for more action this chapter, and can't wait for them to kill these regicidal terrorists with prejudice and make an example out of them by disemboweling them, quartering them and staking their heads outside the main bridge or the main abbey
Disembowelment? Quartering? Decapitation? Please, we aren't savages.
I recommend gibbeting them alive, thereby letting them slowly wither away in the elements until nothing remains. It even has the additional bonus of feeding the local carrion birds. A far more noble means of handling scum like this.

How would fed and happy carrion scavengers help the city in particular and the world in general? I think going into food chain this way would take too long to bear a fruit.
So I propose to use them as fertilizer, while still alive. Literally plant seeds into them and wait for bloody fruits to be ripe by end if the season.

Hope Aleucia noticed that Roze is a spy because no sane person acting as a decoy would say "I wonder where we are right now".
I mean, Roze has shown to be pretty outgoing and talkative; it could easily be justified as small talk to pass the time.
And considering they must keep the curtains closed, it makes sense she doesn't know where they are. They didn't know the carriage they would be assigned to until they got on, so they don't even know their own itinerary

I rly wanna hear her reason for this shiz

Roze's reason
Roze actually has a sense of justice but due to her deep faith in God and the church at the time, she gets blinded by her own faith and her justice gets twisted from that blind faith.

Roze believes the word of the Pope, who had claimed that the arrest of the earlier priest from way back on the royalty making up false claims. Roze also believes the infighting between the royal faction and the church faction needs to be stopped. So she defaults helps the church faction in all of this, not knowing what corrupt things the church is doing. At this point she was blindly believing the Pope's words.

What Roze finds out at the end of this arc
It's at the end of this incident that after she's defeated by Beryl that she learns the truth behind that priest's arrest. She learns that Beryl was the one who helped arrest him and she learns the details of the crimes that priest did all for the sake of the Resurrection miracle research. Roze puts it together that possibly the Pope lied to her and might be involved. Beryl, while at the time gives the Pope some benefit of the doubt as he doesn't know him yet, he gives Roze a hard lesson that she shouldn't put her absolute faith in the Pope like she does with God, and that he taught her swordsmanship was for her to think for herself about what she should be doing for her justice.

MC's intentions are really good here, but for some reason, it feels a bit off since he completely forgot to get married and have a kid of his own :haa:
