I AM SO SAD I AM SO SAD I AM SO SAD I AM SO SAD

It was pretty sweet of Yuhi to remember Sakurako. It appears that because they would usually be in library together, library is now her comfort place. I AM SO SAD. AND AND LOOK AT YOUR MESSAGES GOD DAMN IT! Also, I liked that Yuhi getting punished for what she did instead of making it "Oooh but she was abused". No, characters react realistic. Story doesnt give Yuhi her justice yet just like real life. Also I liked getting a little more Sakurako characterization. She was the person Yuhi needed. But right now, she is doing the opposite. She is forcing herself to be another person in order to be liked. I think it will take one more chapter to have her talk. I AM SO EXCITED I AM SO EXCITED I AM SO EXCITED

also sad

Yuhi pointing out that no one wants to see her at "times like this", is basically because her friends with benefits are in it for only the fun and don't want to deal with anything inconvenient. Basically like how Aoi treated Yuhi, pushing to get what she wants from her, to then coldly ditch Yuhi once she's gotten it. Though it's Yuhi that perpetuates this by pushing away anyone that cares.

I think the girls Yuhi talks to at school at more casual acquaintances that she can't really go to for something like this. And the "Are you doing okay?" message was likely from Yoshino.

Speaking of Yoshino, I'm wondering if Mashiro was lying about Yoshino confessing to her. Because, in the past it was Yoshino that rejected Mashiro's confession. It's possible they reconnected recently because Yoshino felt guilty while thinking she rejected Mashiro too harshly and ruined their friendship. Mashiro might've been planning to try to get Yoshino again, but the plan didn't work out this time either, so Mashiro decided to settle for Yuhi as a backup again because she "trained her". Nothing Mashiro says can be trusted because as shown with Yuhi, she was only telling her what she wanted to hear.

Yesss I’m so excited for the next chapter. I really loved mochi development and character here understanding that hiding her feelings and not being honest has led to where we are now, but she can fix it she loves Amano. As for Amano did she see mochi text and not realize or is she ignoring because she is scared. And it looks like she goes to the library because it’s comfort remembering about her budding friendship to Sakurako, I don’t believe she fully knows who Mochi is yet rather she remembers Sakurako as this girl who was probably one of Amanos true friends before the confession and rejection. Please let them meet up next chap it’s the anniversary of it going physical!!!

Yeah... that was resolved so fast!

I hope thats not a sign, but god knows I suppose...
I mean it hasn’t been resolved yet and while I do love the angst and more real and grounded moments this series was marketed as a silly revenge rom com so I’m hoping that the series does not end after the confession but we get more chapters after the confession that goes over they’re relationship. But if this chapter was the end of volume 2 then we will at least get a volume 3.

Where did it go wrong? Yuhi built up a bunch of superficial relationships without ever properly opening up to anyone. Those who wanted more from her than she was willing to give, she took advantage of them when it was convenient, and pushed them away when it wasn’t. Now she’s alone.

Also, now that we know she never forgot Sakurako, I’m now left wondering if the reason why she considered “Mochi“ her “type“ is because she looks so similar. Oof, the amount of face palming that will be done if the reason turns out to be something stupid like that.

I actually think that Yuhi fully remembers Sakurako and has always seen through the disguise she put on. She clearly had a deep emotional impact on Yuhi, and she probably distanced herself from Sakurako because she was catching feelings of worried about moving on too quickly or something like that.
