Thanks for translating :) Honestly, I don't know what to think about this manga - the last two volumes feel rushed.. So...

Really great pivot, and a lackluster finish. I thought for a bit the author was going to cook, then just squandered everything they built up. I wonder why it is so hard to stick a landing when it comes to endings in manga?

Honest the story got a little silly, and then spent the last few chapters just spinning its wheels. I enjoyed it a lot more early on.
Yeah, I'm torn between being glad it at least got an ending, and wishing it had kept what made it feel so special at first even if that meant no solid ending. I loved the exploration of what it meant to be human through an isolated child and a literal robot, traveling to experience different parts of humanity... hum. Oh well. Still pretty. Love the visual style.

Did it maybe get axed or something? It seems like that's often the case when a manga suddenly has to sprint through the finale...

Return to the status quo ass ending. Probably the most neutral choice possible.

Overall I did get enjoyment out of the story, but the earlier more episodic journey focused parts were the best. Seems like the author realised they had to wrap it up in one volume and ran to an end. Idk I rate it a 7-8.

Thanks for all the chapters over the last couple weeks.

I hope that is the case. It seems even more sad if the author just failed at making a good ending. Given how slow and steady the pacing was in previous volumes, the sudden acceleration of plot seems like a symptom of constraint, not skill

As underwhelming as this ending may be, I still enjoyed it. I signed up for robot x human battery yuri, not expecting a surprisingly pertinent depiction of racism and lust for power and all of humanity's social ails. Ending hit like a brick wall and then trailed on a bit, but I've read worse. I appreciate Shimazaki not leaving us with a sappy end where humanity's antagonism is defeated with a nice dose of amnesia and some good media, but I am left wishing we had a little more time with Erio post metis merge.

Still, got what I came for and more. Interesting relationship dynamic, great worldbuilding, and incredible art.
Tysm for finishing the tls!

This story was true magic in the beginning. Great world building and character work. I do feel the end was messy. The Metis arc into back to back kidnapping doomsday plots was pretty out there. I kinda wish they had just wrapped it up after Metis but at least it ended and it was mostly satisfying. And hey it ended with a kiss. Magical Revolution didn’t do that.

I think some parts could have been cut from the final volume(s) to make breathing space for other, but the basic premise of the finale (AI was never the true danger to humanity, humans were, are and will be) was strong through the whole story. Point in question: Erio and Ange were never threatened by anything which wasn't human itself or controlled by a human.
