Just because feelings are pain doesn't mean pain isn't pain!I have just the thing you need
I was going to mention this, unless there was a development off screen where he started going after the teach post graduation, they should be talking about how the guy feels about our FMC.thanks for the translation! there were 3 mistakes on page 11:
1. "we getting friendly" should be "us getting friendly"
2. "i might end up falling for you all over again" should be "i might end up falling for her all over again"
3. "that you still like me?" should be "that you still like her?"
I think some translation mistakes turned this into yaoi for a moment, unless there were some overtones I missed out on in the original

Both yes and no. Japanese is a pro-drop language. Sometimes they drop the objects and subjects in a sentence. Like in this panel:I was going to mention this, unless there was a development off screen where he started going after the teach post graduation, they should be talking about how the guy feels about our FMC.

yes, japanese omits pronouns so sometimes it's hard to say. but we know sanae liked hasumi. as someone who read the prequel manga as well, i never saw anything that actually spoke to romantic feelings. it seems quite obvious to me they were talking about hasumi since that was that the conversation topic had been about, and what the readers know to be factually given information. you're the one translating so ultimately your decision goes, but you're definitely reaching by saying sanae also had an actual romantic crush on homura and that they were talking about him. Both yes and no. If I were to translate page 11 one-to-one, it would be something like: "I might end up falling for [the object] again." "Don't you mean to say that you still like [the object]?"
I translated it with Sanae referring to himself in his love for Homura because... He does love Homura too. Haven't you read the prequel?

The mangaka even teases yaoi between the two here:

Ah, but if you want to read it as him referring to Ren on pg11, sure you can. It's just that me and my fujoshi side transcribed it the other way around.
