Well, looking like the first two wives get along with each other. :wooow:

Double loading a Baker rifle doesn't work like double loading a musket, but rule of cool and all that.

Good to see the series continue being translated. Imagine founding a nation and naming it after a temporary FOB. Still, that's about all the people and land they got, so I guess it makes sense. It's not perfect, but I like the emphasis on practical skills. As an SAS operative, you're not an expert at everything. What makes Tier 1 professionals exceptional is a high degree of physical ability and mental cognition, as well as the psychological resilience to maintain performance through severe and extended periods of extreme stress. Those qualities lend themselves to figuring things out and making them happen.

"Yo!" indeed.

Levelling up all the way to king after one battle? Damn, how many experience points was that ogre worth?

Do you want the rifle to blow up in your face, Taiga? Because that's how you get your rifle to blow up in your face.

Author not knowing medieval era locks can't usually be picked with lockpicks because they didn't commonly use pin-tumbler-cylinder based locks in at the time. MC would have needed a skeleton key, not lockpicks.
While it's theoretically possible for certain picks to move the right components into position, the amount of force needed to move those big heavy iron locks is more than enough to snap a modern lockpick. The larger movement path is also likely further than what a contemporary hook pick can reach, especially considering that those old-style locks almost always had warded keyways. It's certainly not something that he's going to be able to do quickly without training or practice.
