It was great to see his inner conflict, but also his favourite between the lines. He still fumbled it a bit, but like you said it already, it’s not a long way until he will manifest only on her.
Also shiges words left on Agawa a big impression which is interesting to see. She will be their Cupid.
I guess the “I have more experience than you” of Agawa for dates was probably a lie. It is valid only for the ecchi stuff.
