Because I want to watch him go insane because he miscalculated. She's clearly a lot more powerful than he thought and it will drive him crazy. Especially since it's been long enough and she looks like she likes him enough that she likely would just help him out if he asked.

Basically I'm not going to keep reading this because I think he shoud succeed. I'm reading it to watch her dominate him.

Everything good that happens to him will be something he fails to recognize and drive him further to despair.

One of the most infuriating tropes in media is when a problem could easily be solved if the characters simply fucking communicated with each other, instead of coming up with insane, complicated alternative solutions. His little sister is sick and he needs money to help her. He is married to a woman that apparently has a huge fortune.

So, talk to her! I’m sure she’d at least be willing to help, especially after being married for three years.

I’m gonna be so pissed when later in the story he reveals his situation to her and she’ll say something like ‘why didn’t you just ask me for the money?’

Listen when Walter White refused to allow his Rich friend to pay for his cancer treatment it was due to his sheer arrogance and pride and that was treated as a very serious character flaw. This guy has literally no reason not to just ask his extremely rich wife to pay for his little sister's treatment.

The only reason I could see for the treatment being that expensive is that it requires some super hard to get rare magic ingredients.

Kind of interesting premise starting out with a huge plot hole and very generic "contemporary world with dungeons" setting. I dread the Suggestive rating. Let's see where it goes.

Wait if she is that strong why try to kill her. Just trick her into grinding dungeons. Or go to one with very good drops.

Also author trying to make us have sympathy for MC because of his reason. I'm sure she would easily cough up the money as long as he put a chain around his neck linking him to her.

If not that she hate that he killed a innocent person to save her. I don't think the story would be that dark to have her kill herself. If not that she would feel the need to be selfless and not be on good terms with him.
