    lowe the heat a bit! LIFE HACK: if you have either a toothpick or a wooden spoon, use it to see the oil's temperature, when you put the wood in and its starts fizzling a bit, that's the sweet spot!

    context for prev post : we had an event today which we larp/cosplay and perform things that are considered iconic to each countries
    and i saw a girl from the french team wearing a maid outfit which looks absolutely gorgeous (at least to me)... i don't know her name but oh god thanks for giving me a feeling of yearning a romance that will never happen but at least i know how it feels now

    Fun fact: we are all simply making this shit up as we go. Some of us just have more experience (aka more mistakes we've made and learned from). Deep down, everyone (except the psychopaths) is worried about being accepted for who they are at least some of the time. The 'trick' isn't 'getting over' that fear, it's 'getting through' it and acting in spite of it, ideally without pretending to be something we're not (because that would set us up for problems later).
