Certain US companies are accused of supporting Israel for some reason. Thought it was funny.

you know I have to make lemonade (lime, actually) from scratch everytime I want to drink it :boomer:
-half a lime
-full glass of water
-2 table spoon of sugar
:aquadrink:
it's refreshing (even more with ice) and lightly sweet.
previously (14 years ago) my fridge will dedicate the freezer to store ice cubes only.
but now, it's used to store frozen uncooked food and I'm afraid that will contaminate the ice so now I don't have ice in my drinks anymore (more reasoning shall be provided below).

That limeade does sound pretty pretty good!!! Do you use yellow sugar?

Limeade is the superior citrus drink.

Have you tried orange juice?

:shamihuh: A poor substitute for either of the aforementioned drinks.

My kids would eat the ice fresh from the fridge (I used to do that too) or put too much ice in their drink and then they'd get coughs/pneumonia. So Instead I make drinks beforehand and put them in a sealed container and keep it in the cooler (it's still as refreshing but not as cold so less coughs for the kids :)).

delete this pls (misspelled "that" as "the" and couldn't fix it)
weird how you can't edit stuff on forum walls, have to switch to bbcode to do it.

Wow! I never tried eating the orange skin! Normally, I put them in a place to decompose and use for the garden, but sometimes, I peel it and use it to make syrups for Doces Conventuais, like Orange Queijadas

orange juice
I buy the oranges fresh and squeeze them with this
kitchen-craft-master-class-citrus-fruit-squeezer-0

then peel the skin/rind inside (the thing that holds the pulp and juice), they can serve as fibrous snacks, they tend to get bitter as you chew on them so I'd suggest chewing half-way and then swallow.

Or just cut it into segments, remove as much seeds as possible and eat them whole (like a watermelon slice).

The juice is usually sour so sugar is definitely needed, but sometimes, it's less sour and slightly sweet, I'd recommend not putting sugar so you can experience the raw, fresh orange flavour.

You can also put salt in the oj and lime juice but I don't find the brackish taste appealing.
I prefer to consume it raw or with the least amount of sugar.

(Fuck 600 character limit)

Doces Conventuais, Orange Queijadas
oooh those are yummy. I'm not sure if referring to it as the "skin" is right, it's not the green part
green-oranges.jpg
(the outer skin here is green)
After you squeeze/juice it, you turn the orange inside out and there are those juice sacks(?) that you can easily peel off with your fingers and just eat.
