Cultural differences. It's not racist to point them out, but if you say one is better than the other, then it is.
I've noticed that the relationship between eastern streamers and viewers has a distance, like respecting them as a performer. While western streamers' fans treat them a bit more closely like friends. (or I might be talking out of my ass- I don't watch that many streamers)
@solstice258 saying, "All black vtubers" or "All asian vtubers" or "All white vtubers" are shit would be racist.
The thing you said would be matter of taste/preference.
If you said all Chinese cuisine is shit, I'd say you have no taste. It wouldn't necessarily be racist. Unless you added some spicy details on how all Chinese people are bad.
I think u should rethink what you think of as racist, this is nowhere near being racist, its just pointing out cultural differences, like how tropes in anime are like beach episodes but in western cartoons its shrinking urself and going inside your friend's body to kill a disease
Somehow I never realized just how common "shrinking" episodes are in cartoons. In 18 years I've been watching cartoons on Cartoon Network (and some on Jetix (for eastern EU kids)), I think like 90% of them had that stuff in it.
