Been reading Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn, and it made me realize, “Wow, this is how English is actually supposed to be read”
I don’t have to read through five layers of Japanese cultural understanding or constantly edit the text in my head so it makes more sense and flows more naturally
I just read the words and understand them immediately, it’s almost like a superpower
Because my problem with YouTube is that many videos use similar clickbait titles and thumbnails, even the same style of editing, narrating, etc. which is why I can't be bothered to watch recommendations nowadays.
