The thing is, you are doing the evil route and plunder the land and it's community with non-renewable profit maximization, the consequences of that also being there, with a deep environmental stat system showing the consequences of your actions.
And there is a good route, though even finding it requires going out of your way, avoiding the obvious standard path and choosing a much harder start, that will result in a positive outcome.
