Any good title I see is either canceled, axed, not updated in months/years, gatekept by translator teams, ended, deleted, has no chapters at all, or was affected by the DMCA event last year.

Sometimes, I even reread series I like to fill the gaps (I am a fast reader, for some titles I can read up to 100 chapters within a day, but it depends on how much time I have, how many pages each chapter has, and the title's page format as well).

Though I'm not saying I hate MangaDex, as I have a lot of series that I actively look forward to the next chapter release, but only four of them have regular chapter release schedules, and only one of them gets me really hyped (thanks, sarusa!)

It may be my interests that's the cause, but all I see and have is a vast desert with few oases.

I'm also not saying that translators should rush their chapters, as there are still other factors, like how often raw releases are released, the quality of translations, and more.


I might get ridiculed for this, but I'm saying it anyway!
Also, feel free to give me reading suggestions
I also needed a place to vent my frustration, and I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing something similar... right?
