Non-Worm Inhabitants: Old Beings​

Oh, these are, as their name implies beings that are really old. Like damn old. Older than

itself, in fact! They mostly hang around and vibe and have mutual greetings with us worms, they are pretty cool dudes.
Though to note, most outsiders seem incapable of even noticing them, kinda like they get automatically censored. Pretty weird, but eh. Like, there is one behind you right now and you won't be able to recognize it, it's cool with you though.

Providers are one of our sworn friend species, which help procure our Wormfodder when the assigned deliveryworm fulfills their requests. They mostly keep to themselves except towards us worms however, so an outsider is unlikely to ever see one.

OOC: Worm fact: Worms are fiercely monolatric in their worship of Vermis Invictus, using the term "Spirit" or "Grand Spirit" if the denied Deity is a powerful one.
They care little about worship of someone else than Vermis Invictus, regarding, Spirit worship is a-ok, just don't call them gods.
They also will deny gods that moniker to their face, if they meet them.

Non-Caste Worm: Cocoons​

Cocoons are the form a worm takes when born, a really tiny worm in the safety of the egg of it's motherworm and the cap of the WDS on top of that. They communicate via esp and have, when translated, a highly foppish British accent. Due to not being educated yet, they aren't part of the caste system, but join it upon hatching.

Chemworms​

Th. Chemworms handle all stuff related to like drug manufacturing, medical drug manufacturing and handling other chemical thingies.
A bunch of mad scientists, if you ask me, one of their goals is to turn lead into mold. They do have the good stuff, though.

Brewerworms​

These worms have specialised into brewing alcohol for the other worms after some of them found a brewing manual and equipment in the warehouses. Wamuese Alcohol is usually brewed with Cucumbers, Melons, Pumpkins, Apples and/or Bananas, while Citrus-based alcohols are not well-liked by most Worms.

Teacherworms​

Worm Behaviour isn't purely instinctual, which is why this caste here teaches the worms during their larva stage.
There have been cases where non-worms, like guests, had their children be put in their classes for some reason. Or was that a spiriting away? Results varied, though I'd assume nothing useful was learned for them, non-worms can't usuallyetraverse after all, making the theoretical knowledge not very useful..

Bookworms​

Last but not least in the larger Mediaworm caste, along Earworms and Kinoworms, are the Bookworms.
As their name implies, they focus on literature, be it running Libraries, doing book-reviews or reading and writing.
Wamuese Literature are regarded as hit-or-miss, but very much an unique experience.

Kinoworms​

Borne from the Worms interest in an Anime called Watashi no aisuru seifuku, this caste here specializes in Movies, both the consumption of them as well as making them. Wamuese Movies being often regarded ranging from just being weird to utter memetic hazards, with most being counted as a safe alternative to drugs by outsiders, a strange sentiment from our point of view.

Earworms​

Earworms are Worms specialized on Music and Sound, be it listening and creating pieces of audioworks. Were recently founded thanks to the Help of a certain Specialist.
Wamuese Music is quite varied and experimental, however, the utter king of Music in the WDS is WDS-Pop, a type of music mostly meant to be perceived by Worms themselves, but from non-wamuese Listeners, it was described as an audiovisual experience that cannot be properly described, bleeding ears and bouts of insanity nonwithstanding.
