    I was thinking this as a method of discipline.

    Physical discipline is not very effective. Sure it's seed fear inside of them but it can easily be rooted once the target know they are stronger or equal and can to gain control over it.

    ok well it has a water dispenser so it's a little more forgiving than a supermax cell
    but to answer your question: it would likely take a bit longer than a few hours (probably a few days before the first signs of insanity show up)

    There some similar concept manga before called [Ice Head Gill] it was close like this, involving winter, Lich, and spirit

    There should be a webtoon like website for manga. There mangaka will be appreciate more by everyone around the world, and people can Tip a coin to them. Most popular mangaka will earn more, and had chance to get published.

    When public the community decide most likely there is nice outcome. They valued it more of product instead of a valuable art with soul.
