  • Happened a few months ago, but I decided to read some shotashota as a joke and stumbled upon Isako doujins and I may or may not have read a few of them. Am I cooked chat??? Because I am not a fudanshi or anything but her art is so fucking cute (too cute to be hentai at some points) and the characters are adorable.

dweebcentral comment sections are actually so ass lmao they have actual people spamming racial slurs and nazi imagery 🥀 and the site owner takes a grand total of zero action and the moderator(s) if at all rarely do shit at all.
It is theoretically possible to read 一人(normally read as hitori) as "hitohito"
I decided to go on mangaupdates to see what else was being published with Toilet Bound Hanako-kun in the GFantasy magazine. After looking at the covers I can't prove it but for a "shounen" magazine I have a very strong suspicion that "G" stands for something because for a shounen the fanbase is like disporportionately female.

@undeed hello. As a japonically capable person, I'm sorry to inform you that Shounen actually DOES mean "boy" and only refers to "youth" in Japonic Legalese

@robertelch something tells me they went on wiktionary but they're using for the chinese term for the specific kanji

@robertelch sure. I mean, I'm in my 6th years living in Japan, and I don't think I'm a capable person in Japonically.
That's why I said "technically technically speaking"
the kanji of shonen is still consists of "small" and "year"
    make what you will

and in topic of GFantasy, that shonen magazine is about the only shonen magazine that specifically has a "shoujo" section inside it.
No other shonen magazine did it as far as I know
Today I learned that the reason sometimes the word onani is spelled with an E at the end(in the MangaDex titles) is because the original word was spelled in German as Onanie, but the Danish/Swedish/Esparanto/Indonesian loanword doesn't have it. Nor does the romanization of the corresponding Japanese loanword.
I assure you dear reader that chapters 42 and 49 of Magical GIrl site are very necessary.

Hint: nonconsensual bdsm yaoi. Nuff said. The guy on the receiving end is a shithead but still. What the fuck.
Anyone remember the 1:39 ratio MTL controversy? That was how I first knew about Jecro. So seems like they still were pretentious and just stayed hidden in their superiority complex. They kept glazing their dogshit MTLs.
Reading "Mom, Please Do Not Come for Adventure" (the official english title and japanese titles are TOO FUCKING LONG) and the biggest thing bugging me is that in some places the runic transcriptions (based on real runes) form a noun (or sometimes even a Japanese sentence from the romanized runes) while other places it's gibberish (or loremipsum) (or maybe I have to speak Japanese and that they also dropped some sounds like when speaking aloud in JP).
I posted this on Manko-sensei's profile but what would a hypothetical MankoDex contain? :smugnako: Lots of yuri hentai?
    "femboy"
    look inside
shota that doesn't really look feminine
chat do you think people are just closet shotacons when yapping about anime femboys

bonus points if its clearly masculine and not drawn like a girl with a dick (eg in natitama(isako) doujins)
It's a crime Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu wasn't fully adapted. Actual bait. Fucking scummy studio. Me when I adapt something just to axe the adaptation (it's an ad for the manga).

The scummy phenomenon of anime-onlies is a plague that gives people wrong conclusions. I take part in this bad practice of being an adaptation only for 2 manga because of my novel backlog but aim to rectify it (if i can find it on the 7 seas)

Now don't tell Robin this but here's my controversial opinion:
Hitori Bocchi should have gotten a second season over pink Bocchi.

I think they unironically believe the entire world operates like they do and can magically speak their language.

Because that's their business, making the highest profit and this is not only about selling Blu-ray/DVDs. The studio isn't going to push unless they're going to make a difference than adapting a new project which they're probably going to get paid more and it's already scheduled, and with so many debts the presidents don't think in anything else but cover them. Then you have the merchandise scheme, those who get the cut are old people in small committee and know that selling bishoujo figures is the best for that.
saw in an official translation a conversion of kilograms to pounds lul

what country uses meters and pounds at the same time? canuckistan? britbongland?

    (meaning canada or uk)
    HelperHand

@AnonymousContributor well is just how things came to be, kilos are part of the units of measures but because pounds have been in use since our independence from Spain we still use it, and is prefered, the last big push to move over pounds was a little more than a decade ago and it was a failure so we continue to dual label products, but pounds remains as the default option and what people understands
    Manko-sensei

All measurements are artificial, but at least we don't need to remember random convertions between units. But yes, it is not uncommon for the big USAian publishers to do that (or adding explanations about what is a kilo).
Saw a doujin of a shota using the desk to jerk off.

Who is the audience for this shit?
IDT it feels good for men to move their ass on a desk. Consequently it would probably hurt like a bitch

    edit:nh code is 543920

Googled the author and it turns out Poron is a woman.

I'm pretty sure it's a doujin written by a women, who think why her own desk experience. They seriously don't understand mens at all !

@UnnamedPlayer maybe it's (or was) her first doujin, or it was intentional just for the plot who knows.
There are quite a few women hentai artists who are really good at their work and you will be surprised at how some of the popular doujin out there are actually written by a woman.
