Why give him a bunch of skills that are all made redundant by their next evolution and retain the earlier stages? Unnecessarily bloats up his status.

I like the author having the party acknowledge that Sharon knows far too much and Frey literally handwaving it away. Contributes to their character building.
I just vastly preferred the toned down manga design over the super-moe anime version. I'm aware that this was adapted from the light novel, but I still couldn't take it.
