@aniiiii More like Wolan recognizes that the female!Yeon is the same imperial invader earlier in the story. I don't think she has yet made the connection that female!Yeon and (male/general)!Yeon are the same person.

I think this is the best time to end the story. I don't know what else the story can build on from hereon when the two are able to finally move past their hurdles. @Miyono-chan At this point of the story, the emperor does not suspect Yeon is female and the woman whom he loves. (Yeon's male disguise is that effective.) He does, however, suspects Yeon (the general) is the same "boy" who grew up and whom he met at the very same temple a long time ago.
