I kinda like how relative the words "beautiful" and "beloved" are in manga/anime. I'm 99% sure I've seen the heroine's design in another series as a supporting character and as a background character in another. Really makes those words feel hollow.

Enjoyable manga? Yes. Would I recommend it to anyone?... Most likely.
Though now that it's over, I will say that "reset" that happened during ch. 39/40 feels like the mangaka was trying to buy some time so they could figure out the ending.
