If it was a old school shojo, next chapter he would get hit by a car while coming back home and lose his memories... That's the usual old template to desperately stretch the story and milk more chapters after a confession, because almost all shojo mangaka's can't manage to write anything after...

After looking at the raws, it seems there are missing pages at the end here...

That's what I feared : the same type of sloppy and rushed ending that +a no tachiichi (the previous work of this mangaka) got, a "she-is-back-poof-the-end", with most of the stuff never answered and no closure for almost all the rest. And no care at all for most of the cast. Guess I'll avoid...

As the art go down in quality with each season, I think it will be drawn in crayon shin-chan style in a few seasons...

It's weird that people with thin or closed eyes design are almost always used as fishy characters... I know the whole "eye are the mirror of the soul so drawing a character with closed eyes means he/she has something to hide" schtick but... Obvious templates can feel way to obvious sometimes.

@9manny99 : If it was in jump it would be about friendship/nakama/a team of useless comic reliefs & useless emo edgelords & useless fanservice token females & the hero, effort/filler chapters full of training montage grind, and victory/the useless friends fight the small fries around the big bad...

Thanks for taking the mantle for this one, but it seems there is a lot of stuff missing between this chapter and the previous one... Maybe chapter 5 was incomplete ?
