Not sure why people are surprised about the church being bad in a series based on witch burning. Sure, it's cliche but this is the one series where it should happen so it's fine. Cliche =/= bad.

@es_kan Aww, don't drop it yet. This is a great series that's worth reading. The series as a whole could be described as a dark fantasy/comedy. So although there will be dark, monstrous moments, there will also be plenty of comedic scenes like with the living bikini armour.

@Doomroar What medical witch? So far all the characters introduced who had anything to do with healing has been a non-witch (doesn't know about ink writing = magic), including the lady doctor in this chapter.

Damn, another powerful and impactful chapter as always. Everyone was thinking he wouldn't be dead and a situation like with Akaza would happen but it makes sense. Someone with no emotion like Doma wouldn't have the motivation or drive to push himself to surpass his limits.

@Owyn He doesn't, he learned the basics from the orc girl at the beginning of the series and then from there he doesn't need anymore help to improve on his own. Like I said, he's a genius spellcaster. The spellcasting language is so intuitive to him that he can make spells on the spot like so.
