i feel a mildly more substantial and reluctant twinge of understanding and sympathy for the imperial family. they're freaks, they're really not human, and I can't exactly apply human rationality to them 100%. That said, u go, jason, smack 'im good
they... they went to defeat the ruler without their healer???????
oh i mean sure maybe it was a pressing, time-sensitive issue, but no healer? at all? not even a replacement???? when they were used to having one?
everyone's motivations are clear except for that priest's, to hell with him btw.
also what does "return to the sun" mean
too good, i can't wait for the rest of the story
i mean no, not specifically to spy on you, that was an accident, you walking murder-for-brains
2nd prince wyd, that's a potentially massive weapon you're trying to upset
yellow haired dude one of those stupid "it's dangerous, i just freaking threatened a child" kind of idiots, i hate him
also rei, chill, bruh, please, like seriously
Honestly Jeanette really has all the qualities of an OG main character. She has done literally nothing wrong. Everything that goes wrong is the machinations of other people manipulating a child.
She also takes the prospect of suffering and rejection pretty well usually, tbh. She's a good kid...
i don't need a jealousy misunderstood-drastic-measures subplot in my fluff-with-magic-drama
down with misunderstandings!!! long live straightforward plotting and evil!!!
