@AnoOnna they address the whole lacking emotional depth thing after the first significant character dies. Imo Japan sinks was a weird but amazing story. Only problem I could see with it was the fact that the girl gets everyone killed and acts like it wasn't her fault for majority of the story...

Came back to Killing Bites after a while to fully catch up, and I wish I hadn't, why is there even a hyena girl. And power scaling in this manga is weird af, can agree cheetah just running was some of the most inane things to happen in the story.
