I wonder if male neanderthals have larger foreheads in this series? As it stands there is literally no way to tell them apart from humans other than them having red hair which humans also have, I don't really understand the margin for differentiation here other than them possibly being stronger...

You know that's an incredibly suggestive headpat, lol I don't think she'd be able to explain this one away if lollypop walked in right now. For someone whose whole family thinks she doesn't look or act like a girl, she's being incredibly feminine right now.

Feels like this one should have a tragedy tag, hell while you're at it remove the Romance tag and just label it properly as a Tragic Seinen.

@MrGoose Well it’s pretty clearly defined in the genre tags that this manga is a romance 4-koma. I’m not sure what you were expecting despite that, but it’s bound to happen sooner or later.

Since I can only imagine what Tomose must really sound like, I think I will forever be imagining her dialogue being spoken in the voice of Dr. Girlfriend from the Venture Brothers.

Manbagi is absolutely adorable without her soft-serve-pony hairstyle, and caked on cosmetics. Poor girl is mistaken though if she thinks her friends are doing well off without her. They share a class with Yamai after all, which is a misfortune that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

@AnimeJ As big as her chest is, it's odd that it really matters so much what she chooses to wear, as is the fact that Toda is seemingly the only guy actually attracted to her at all.

@pokefairy The student council president could have, but then again, he is practically smoothness incarnate, so I suppose it's hardly a sporting comparison to compare Sonobe to him.

@beperov The objective of most rivals in romance manga is to serve as a roadblock, or to sabotage the main characters relationship entirely, often forcing the MC's into almost always contrived situations and dilemma's creating artificial drama in order to prolong the plot, while the "rivals"...

@beperov They are already in an established relationship though. Introducing rivals at all at this point would only serve to derail the story by creating unnecessary drama and conflict. I Honestly find it a bit refreshing to see this manga subvert such typical cliche's.

Really feels like this manga should have a harem tag.
