I genuinely appreciate the care put into also developing Conrad's character, his family's story and the fact that he is kind enough to go through a lot of pain to make Leslie smile. Also.. I don't really like the prince, his careless attitude about Leslie being abused was really off-putting.

@Motomoto you are right, contraceptive remedies were common knowledge in my country before pills existed. Of course, the remedies were a bit dangerous but I don't see why can't they have them (safely) in this manhwa.

The protagonist herself is a writer of romantic aristocratic books sometimes, yet she fails to recognize what is happening in her engagement. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it for some reason, the reactions feel organic and the characters are believable.
