About them eggs: Unwashed eggs don't need refrigeration to last long. Easily weeks in room temperature, a year if you're lucky. Sadly washing removes a protective layer which then allows bacteria to enter the egg and start spoiling it dangerously. But god forbid the egg look ugly on the...

About that nikujaga trick - I've started doing something similar with leftover frenchfries (or other baked roots) - put in a bowl and crack one (or more depending on amount) egg over it, then add panko or breadcrumbs and stir (add some salt, pepper and maybe more spices to taste as well), panfry...

Why not? They work just fine in the pool and in lakes? - Anyway, I mostly came by to say that judging by the container that's maybe not "sake" but "cooking sake". (Worth checking up if you intend to replicate the recipe.)
