@musicfreak12 if by "greedy king" you mean the lord of the neighboring territory, he's not very smart, he's been a pawn of others with dreams of being important in his own right in the capital, and on top of that, his biggest concerns are valid points based on the nature of how war was in this...

@dokidoki dude, remember MC has generic MC buffs AND has literally been trained since birth by this world's gods of magic and combat. she's NOT weak, she's fighting BLIND against a divine tier golem. it's a reduced strength golem, yes, but it's still a divine tier creation so its power only...

just re-read the series to make sure, and while chapter 4 does have a small print bit in the recap about him having the ability to see the talent in others, there has been NOTHING in the *manga* up until the TL note at the end of this chapter actually saying MC was unable to appraise items...

@xyzzy dude only twice? do you not read much isekai? cause I'm sure I've seen it attempted at least a dozen times here on MD alone (I say attempted cause usually the MC had abilities that negated it and at least one ended with the girl drinking it by accident after the cups got shuffled)

@jestervae it's often stated within these "cultivation" series that progress is a mixture of talent dedication and luck, MC's tend to have dedication usually have high talent and naturally they have MC luck++++++ effect and get these so called "fated encounters" that let them level up more often...
