Most unrealistic part is that corporate employees would openly admit to discrimination. When they don't want to hire you they always give vague answers for liability purposes, even if the truth is something simple that they could tell you and help you improve yourself.

Just about any doting parent character I've come across is great; and I love the dynamic with the MC.

i think good chance its either the rival Sarel like they said (prob told him mc's mom was talking mad shit) OR mc's mc's mom asked him to help toughen out our little flufff ball. And the reason he may look so hostile might be cuz MC's mom may not have asked so nicely lol (threaten or blackmail)
