Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 505 - Saying One Thing And Doing Another

Anyone else find it interesting that the bubble says "C turned around at 60 seconds" while the clock on the wall points at 50 seconds? Reminded me of the Air Poker game when the author showed Ref Manabe showing a winning hand before the law was revealed, or how he showed Baku's final straight...

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 504 - What Must Be Avoided At Any Cost

@0verSky I was also gonna say there is still 3 more volumes, seems unlikely drop the handkerchief will last for that long. I figure (hope...) there should be one more gamble.

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 504 - What Must Be Avoided At Any Cost

@goodknife @Elhao I have a feeling there is still a hidden final boss considering the set up for Huger. The real Richard Arata perhaps?

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 504 - What Must Be Avoided At Any Cost

@Veshv I think he is now able to keep or erase parts of his memories at will. "I have erased the wedge" to Nowa Shion and "this is my first deadly agony" to Fukurou during air poker came to mind.

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

@Veshv @esotericgravity I had a look and you both were right, it wasn't in the air poker chapter. The panel I'm referring to is literally just one small black panel with an unknown voice saying something like "not my child" or "give me back my child" - it was part of a larger dream / flashback...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

@esotericgravity @Veshv no no, it was Baku's for sure. IIRC it's also the same dream / flashback where a silhouette (I suspect Baku's dad) in front of many other silhouettes (referees) said something like "you don't need these guys / these guys don't matter" - not the exact words. It may have...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

@Veshv absolutely, I've also mentioned that my theories have been wrong 95% of the time, it's just fun to try and predict what's what. The author really likes to mess with time in his narratives, memento-style, so I wouldn't be surprised if Nowa had already noticed / mentioned something...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

@Veshv during my obsessive research I found that plum contains a decent amount of potassium, so I've theorized that Baku's kariume eating habit had been his "neck training" all along. I posted this several days ago along with the whole "kindness" and "wedge" he'd been seeding to Souichi, which...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

@troita I can never be sure with this manga, I've gotten EVERYTHING wrong except what the card numbers in air poker meant lol. With that said, I highly doubt Baku took all those steps to make sure they use a digital clock in such a way (e.g. making sure Souichi doesn't have a watch on him...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

@299792458 @catx3 Another possibility is violation of rule #2 - "not dropping or checking within 1 minute" (ch. 493), which would be considered a loss. If Fukurou's clock jumps from, say, 8:56:30 to 9:00:00 during Leader's turn, could it be considered a loss if he hasn't dropped the...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 503 - 2 Strange Feelings

Just realized Japan is in GMT+9, now even more convinced Fukurou's clock will adjust to the solar time on 9am January 1st, adding 4+ mins instantaneously to (hopefully) Leader's time.

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 502 - Man Of The Neck

I still think Baku's trick for this match has to do with sidereal versus solar time, thus the need for timekeeping with a digital clock instead of a wall clock or a stopwatch. Now I'm starting to think the kariume might have something to do with the near death drug (neck training), and even...

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 501 - If You Listen Carefully

@Petrichormus I am suspecting the same. If everything so far is according to Baku's plan, there has to be a reason why they are using a digital clock from the phone that automatically tells the time, instead of counting down the seconds. My best suspicion is it has something to do with the...
