This manga was one of my "read it when I have nothing else" mangas for a while now, but I'm coming to realize just how good it's character writing and design can be. Genuinely, this manga has it's moments, and they're some damn great ones too

Props to this manga for all of it's foreshadowing and set up. Actually studying his opponents beforehand with the arena, building up his experience and training then actually applying it properly to his fights instead of always pulling out new bullshit, and thinking up of clever strategies and...

This manga certainly has some issues with how it portrays fight scenes, feel like there's a lack of proper motion or impact in most fights, but you can't deny that it's still damn entertaining

Author's understanding comics better than America can, and the artist is certainly understanding costume design better than America can too
