I was interested in the process he used for making alcohol, so I looked it up... Apparently grapes typically have wild yeast on them, which can act as the starting agent. And fermented/alcoholic milk IS a real thing - look up "kumis" (or "kefir"). To make strong alcohol though, you need sugar...

Damn, the emperor was blunt. I expected him to maybe try to set the mood, to try to probe and look for certain reactions... But he just went for it. I guess the emperor is super eager, knows what he wants, and is confident that Desir will agree to his terms?
