I reread this series so often I never forget what's happening when a surprise chapter pops up. That said though, what a surprise that Belgrieve visited Orphen.

Gotta say, the demon god kinda sucks. She didn't do anything when her people were getting killed, never showed up or gave any notice she even cared, and only descended after she finally sent Tae San as a late envoy to save the last survivor just so she could blow up the world she failed to take...

I am all for Kano's 4D keikaku. This man is streets ahead.

Kito is a little rat bastard and I hope only he takes the fall.

As eventful as this chapter was, my biggest takeaway is that the dorm supervisor actually does drive a HiAce.

I didn't say Kito smoked the cigarette, but I am saying that Kito instigated Mouri to quit DL. Kito continues to be a conniving imp and he was definitely planning to drag DL down with him. That Kadomatsu was observant of him gives hope that he gets the imp caught red-handed and rightfully kicked.

I hope Kadomatsu avenges Mouri and gets that little imp Kito expelled.

Nakibokuro conveys hype and momentum so well. It's great to see Kano and Hinoki popping off.

I'm not saying the mom's gonna fuck her son's friend, but the author's definitely setting up a dynamic by making them mutually aware of each other. Though in Maria's case, it's a little tempered in that she only sees her husband in him.

Chapter title had me thinking the plot would go a different direction from the way the chapter started.

My tear ducts are feeling a little watery after the end of this chapter.

I used to think that Diamond no Ace was the best baseball manga I'd read until this diamond showed up.

Epilogue was nice way to end the story. I agree with the author that some of the story was really powerful and some of it wasn't perfect, but overall this was good. I hope Lee Yoonsung is at peace.

I'm surprised to see this series is ending after so long. That's probably a sign I should move this up on my reading list.
