Didn't see the yaoi tag before I clicked on this, what a damn shame

This is too on the nose with its premise and has little depth to it. Unless the authors somehow learns to show us more rather than tell us and to stop using so much expository language this is just going to be another generic novel.

Major issues with these "I got/picked shitty skills but they're secretly OP???" stories is that none of the skills are shit. Either their potential are unexplored, they're just harder to use, or the MC is somehow so smart they'll figure out how to make an item or a move that somehow no one else...

Like others are saying, same premise as another manga but the less serious tones lends itself well to being a cooking isekai. Other one is too serious and the drama really slows down the pacing
