It's an excrutiating pain. Sometimes one says they give up love for the sake of responsibility or maybe because their friend has the same interest. The truth is they're afraid to pursue love and find rejection. I sympathize with Ajisai a lot
I really wish it had time to grow, but maybe that would've been a slow, painful death. It was really interesting though. It was a trashfire by the end, but I hope the author well on their next endeavors.
Thanks for the translation! I liked this chapter. The previous one definitely had a more "ending" kind of feel, but it's nice to see the aftermath instead of just abruptly moving on to the next arc.
I hope Ajisai's parents take this as a sign to lighten her load. It's clear she loves her...
I also think a five year age gap is extremely iffy. Considering they're in highschool, a year is fine, a two year age gap is okayish and three years is really pushing it, but five is insane.
Maybe it's also worth considering though that she's reincarnated. Depending on how much she remembers...
My current ranking for the interests. Yes, I'm looking too deep into this, but it's fun.
1) Ajisai for obvious reasons. She's the one that feels most natural. She didn't have to convince Renako into a pseudo-relationship, or use her a as a revenge hook-up. When Renako "confessed," nothing was...
Satsuki is my second favorite. Her relationship with Renako is also weird and probably not healthy, but I have more fun reading her arc. It's less of a romance and more of a game
