Big-X was the first translation I ever did, followed by Superhuman Kelly. So yeah, I was starting out and things were pretty stilted. Hopefully newer stuff is easier on the eyes.

This original 8-Man story, "Duel", is related to how the climax of of 8-Man vs 009 works, which is why it's included in the second vol.

Got it! It wasn't tagged to long strip, i think it was simply tagged to nothing and maybe defaulted to long strip? I don't know. I put the tag to "web comic" and that seems to have fixed it.
