I think the biggest problem here is that one side now feels like they have no representation, and are being thrown to the wolves, not to mention that the news media and some of the more "extreme" in government are trying to classify anyone who identifies as a "trump supporter" or "conservative...

@GayJonahJameson Well she's literally trying to blackmail them, it's kinda hard to not hate someone like that. Even with good intentions blackmail is a very bitter pill to swallow.

@xxlv A couple of others i can suggest is the villainess wants to marry a commoner!, which is about a girl and her boyfriend that she's crushed on from before she got isekai'd (he's a game character, she's not) and is wholly devoted to him, more of a comedy though, oh and the mc is overpowered...

@derpdederp Gonna be a while before it's explained in story so i'll post some spoilers about the demon's ultimate goal, that said ignore if you don't want to be spoiled. Needless to say, while it's a slice of life, there's going to be a bit more action as the chapter's go on until this arc ends.

@Kettern To be fair, it was likely a planned ambush, even highly trained military can easily end up wiped out in a well planned ambush even if the attackers are farmers, in fact a good deal of us deaths in the recent wars was due to enemy ambushes.
