Jeegus. Given the context and what the MC is thanking the dude for, this final panel is probably the creepiest innocent-looking smile with shoujo sparkles/bubbles I've ever seen.
I do like that the gang-rape was carried out in a realistic and non-arousing style, rather than the pornified...
@noobchicken
It's a rather murky ethical territory, isn't it? (The next chapter goes further into the idea of authority systems that should be helping their inmates not doing so.)
I think that might actually be the point of this manga, but we'll have to see.
@noobchicken
I can't say for sure until we've seen more, but from everything so far, this feels like a world (a world much like our own) where the only thing reporting a rape would accomplish is forcing the victim to recall and recount the experience, further traumatizing the victim, then have...
I'm just gonna throw out there the fact that modern homo sapiens do have some neanderthal DNA, as far as we can tell, and we've gotten some talk about how producing fertile offspring makes you technically the same species.
To be honest, I would prefer this series either said "yup, they're all...
@TughrilMahmut
You're right, but it's more that we're just tired of Evil Isekai NoblesTM. This series executes them better (and somewhat more realistically) than most, but it's a concept that's been played out for cheap drama too many times. I'd love to see some nobles that were actually...
Jesus Christ, the MC just dished out "do you want to see your childhood friend get raped?" at that guy without batting an eye.
Although I do think it's odd that all three of them are ignoring the fact that if this dude is part of the rebellion, he'd probably try to grab Kaede as his share of...
@yarielist
Considering Seilurn explicitly stated she's fine with being the 'first wife', and recognizes that this is probably going to be a polygamous marriage ("...other women who we can work together with will be necessary"), I think 'cheating' in this case would be Balud screwing or bringing...
Wow, that was a good chapter.
The last two pages remind me strangely of some Calvin and Hobbes cartoons about rain, and some of the other no-dialogue stuff Watterson did in that comic.
God, Miku's cute, though.
@Alamut
Parallel Paradise. The main twist on the usual isekai format is that the MC is the only man in the fantasy world, and his "you get one free OP power when you isekai" is... well, basically sending women into a state of nearly-uncontrollable lust for his cock by touching them.
You can...
Every time I think this story can't get better, it somehow does.
I just lost it at "everyone in the drama club knows where you live". Legosi's a dropout and an ex-con, but he's never going to manage to run away from the people who care about him.
Can't wait to see how this conversation with...
@Asriel
If this is "clunky", I'm really looking forward to the rest of it, because it's been pretty good so far. I never knew how much I wanted elves with guns.
Leaving aside everything else that happened here, the panel where Ieroh has stopped the cart, they're looking at him through binoculars, and he rips the wrapping off his rifle and it flutters out behind him in the wind is one of the best single panels he's had in the whole thing.
Everything...
I think this is probably the first time I've just full-on laughed at a Chinese Imperial Court Shenanigans series because it was actually hilarious, rather than just dumb.
This is fucking amazing - the whole thing is completely staged, because they're playing games with other people.
I think this may be one of my favorite dialogue scenes between them yet. It shifts from grief to philosophical/religious ideas, then suddenly to a speech about love which proceeds to tie back into the theme of death, and then the joking flirting after that.
Nearly everything one of them says...
