It's probably just an issue of OLD English/Japanese translations since the protagonist is intended to be the focus. Like I said before, if he took a more prominent position in the collective works, like in Mitame wa Jirai-kei no Sewayaki Joshikousei, calling him the protagonist would be fine...

Chapter 12 translated by Team Misoshiru lists the male lead as "The Protagonist." Either Team Misoshiru or the Author does not understand what the word protagonist means.

The author or the translator does not understand what the word Protagonist means.

Pretty close to the money, it's scientific notation as seen on scientific calculators. E12 is 10 to the 12th power also known as a trillion, or a million million. Multiply that by the number before the E and you get the value.
