@eshkin_kot it's really just because the series is getting cancelled so the author is probably frocing the story to progress wiht new plots introduced, new character introduced and ofc moving the romance along

@tatherwood while i'm not saying it's correct because I also find it distrubing with how it's like a double standard but this is kinda stemming from the basic idea of the mothers and fathers. A single mother with a child is treated very differently from a single father with a child either...

@miscacc I am thinking that maybe the whole ring thing is based on his own emotions. I think that the ring only appears when he really loves that person or really believes in what he is doing. Once he starts drowning in pleasure or is more sadistic with what he's doing, the ring no longer...
