I hate to be a doomer about it, but a new troublesome arc might be coming. Wasn't it that no one knew who Haniel was, or the costume's maker? Gojou just outed himself, and it may not be hard for people to track down Kitagawa with a little digging.

High Elf, so I imagine so. Honestly, every time I see a magic user character get underestimated just because they're kids, or because of their gender, lineage, etc., when they let loose with an unexpectedly big one, I somehow hear the G1 Megatron Fusion Cannon sound effect in my head.

^This. Amina even said it out loud in the middle of a crowd. Don't tell me no one heard that, or that their examiner was walking so fast she didn't pick up on it. That should've been grounds already to suspend any talks of dueling, and turn that piece of crap in to the guards.

There could be any number of reasons, depending on the culture of the time and place. Modern day, we wouldn't think much of the reasons of a single woman being in a bar alone. Maybe she wants to be by herself, on the flip side, maybe she's there looking for companionship, for a rendezvous...

Haughty attitude since her intro, figured this would happen. Too full of herself, and isn't even aware of her own limits. I guess she missed the sessions about managing her mana, or the Professors just glazed over it.

The fights feel really rushed. I guess the editors gave the author X number of chapters, and he's trying to make everything fit, but otherwise these fights could've been stretched even longer.

Not the batteries by themselves, no. Point I've been trying to make is the part of the metal from the blade needs to inserted into the handle up to a certain length, in order to be secure. Past that will need to be the hollowed out space for those cells, and that length will stack up. The...
